After a traumatic personal health experience, I forced myself to obediently write what I thought was going to turn out to be a novel of sorts. What it turned out to be was an unusual piece giving a short glimpse into the mind of a selfish, lost soul. Sealed within a stone prison cell, in a strange darkness, his mind rages on, the soul churning in self-pity and anger. This is an intense, short read.
