Daniel dozed for a while longer as if to regain what was lost in the turbulent night until the brightness of the new sun filled his bedroom along with the cool morning air. The cat finally yielded and was back to her vigil on the bed. "Sweet is the light", Daniel mumbled. "And how pleasant it is for the eyes to sense the sun." But Solomon probably had a better night's sleep when he wrote that. He and one of his hundreds of women. The thought of trying to please a thousand wives, concubines and their daughters danced hilariously in his mind. Finally he doubted if Solomon ever had a peaceful sleep. One woman was more than Daniel could live with in his life. Solomon had to be truly amazing as King and as a human being. Daniel rolled out of bed and walked the ritual walk to the cupboard to open the newest bag of "Crunchy Cat Delight". His princess was waiting patiently at the bowl. "I'll be content with you", Daniel added stroking the fur, running his finger beneath its chin.
