Joseph and Julie were surprised when Daniel told them of his new job development. An international communications firm was not what they imagined him involved with, but they were happy to see him busy and challenged once again. Julie had worried about Daniel sleeping his life away on the old easy chair along with the cat. Their own lives were more than filled with activities and programs and reach outs flowing from the Messianic Fellowship. Internal evangelism and the making of disciples was highest priority in a program called "Completed Jew" that worked especially well among the newly settling arrivals from both the
North and South Americas. Julie's fluent Spanish helped tremendously and moved in step with an attractive spiritual tenderness and compassion. Yet, with Daniel, both Julie and Joseph quietly grieved at his resistance to the move of God's Spirit in Israel. At times they felt as if they'd lost him forever. Maybe the new job would lead to the right circumstance and timing with the right person to touch Daniel's spirit. They looked forward to Thursday's dinner with him. He could also fill them in on job details.
