on her forehead and she will get better."
The
children clung to him as they looked out into the valley. They had gone
through what seemed a lifetime of growing and changes. The greatest
of hopes had been poured out for them. Though they had children's bodies,
their hearts were far stronger, far ahead. They had run the race of
their lives and had won. They carried forever the greatest victory within
them. They would never lose it.
"What
do you want us to do?" asked Amy, wondering what the days ahead
would hold. Questions raced in Nathaniel's mind, too. Yet he knew somehow
all those things would be taken care of in the right way and at the
right time.
